4. Now go to the Playbook and select Internet Tethering.  You should see your BlackBerry device listed there (as a result of pairing).  In this walk-through, it is named BTTest9800. Please do not have more than 2 devices paired at the same time or your Playbook may not function correctly. Select your BlackBerry device.

5. The first time you tether to your BlackBerry, you will be asked to configure a profile.  Once you have configured it and successfully tethered to your BlackBerry, the profile configuration pages will not appear anymore.

5.1 You are presented the main page for profile configuration.  Select Add Profile.

5.2 Now you have a custom profile page.  Enter anything you want to name your profile and enter "tbapn" without the quotes for AccessPoint. Leave Username and Password empty.  Now you are ready to connect.  Click "Connect".

6. By design, the Playbook will always warn you about potential tether charges by carriers whenever you use the Internet Tethering function of your Playbook.  Note that Bluetooth Tether Bridge does not require or make use of tether support from the cellular network which many carriers charge a monthly tether fee or a per-use premium for.  To proceed, click "Continue".

7. Now your Playbook will attempt a connection:

8. The first time you tether, your BlackBerry will ask you for permission to allow a connection from your Playbook. Note that you should check the "Don't display this prompt again" box so that you do not have to do this every time you tether.  Select "Yes" to grant permission.
